This one is not a recipe but just a little photo series of the cake I’ve made recently for my dear friend. I’m not a big fan of sugarpaste and buttercream (the only butter thing that I don’t like probably:)) so I refuse to use them which does make my job a bit more difficult, as these two are a bit easier to work with. So this time I used white chocolate mousse for the ombre frosting, macaroons, chocolate and flowers to top it all and on the inside there is a rich chocolate sponge with raspberry and hazelnut filling.
If I got that for my birthday my life would be complete! (:

I do love the fun you’ve had with the crumbly macaron shells. The cake is just so dynamic and gorgeous 🙂 I can handle buttercream in moderation, but I do agree that sometimes it is too much when covering a layer cake–a white chocolate mousse sounds delicious!
